Helping organisations retain and support good people through change

We design and facilitate practical programmes that support employees, teams and leaders through organisational change and major life transitions - including restructures, changing roles, parental leave and returning to work.

The cost of pressure isn’t always visible until organisations lose their key talent…

Change can affect people in very different ways, but the impact on confidence, connection, performance and retention is often the same.

Our work focuses on key areas where organisations can make a meaningful difference to how their people experience change.

Organisational Change

Supporting employees, teams and leaders through restructures, changing roles, new ways of working and periods of uncertainty.

These practical, facilitated programmes help organisations manage the people side of change by rebuilding clarity, confidence and connection so teams can move forward without losing good people along the way.

Support may include:

  • Team reset workshops

  • Leading through uncertainty

  • Rebuilding trust and engagement

  • Supporting teams following restructure or change

  • Manager guidance and facilitated cohorts

Working Parent Transitions

Supporting employees through parental leave, returning to work and the ongoing challenge of balancing career and family life.

These programmes help organisations retain experienced people by providing practical support at a time when employees may be navigating significant changes to their identity, confidence, relationships and capacity.

Support may include:

  • Preparing for parental leave

  • Returning to work with confidence

  • Working-parent workshops

  • Secondary caregiver programmes

  • Manager support and facilitated peer groups

Wellbeing Reset Workshops

Practical, facilitated workshops that give employees space to pause, reflect and reset during demanding periods.

Sessions can be tailored around key points in the working year such as before a holiday break, following a sustained period of pressure or when teams need to reconnect with their wellbeing, boundaries and priorities.

Workshops focus on:

  • Recognising stress and signs of overload

  • Managing competing demands

  • Re-establishing healthy boundaries

  • Letting go of unhelpful pressure and expectations

  • Identifying practical wellbeing priorities

  • Especially beneficial in stressful periods like the lead into Christmas or significant change

Wellbeing Reset Workshops can be delivered as standalone sessions or alongside wider organisational change and employee-support programmes.

What People Are Saying

“Working with Shelly was the best thing I have done this year! Shelly was amazing at helping me become clear on where I am right now, and where I truly want to be. She has a way of asking the right questions which opened up new perspectives - without ever making me feel judged or pressured. She is super supportive, honest, and genuinely cares. I am the main character in my own life again! If you're considering working with a coach, Shelly is absolutely the one to call!”

Claudia

‘I had a one-on-one coaching session with Shelly recently focused on career planning and it really exceeded my expectations and left me really inspired! Her pre-session exercises were really helpful to get in the right headspace for the session to get the most out of our hour together. Shelly's gentle guidance, encouragement, patience and ability to pivot as needed meant that, by the end, I was feeling so clear and really excited about my next steps. I'd highly recommend working with Shelly’.

Anna

“The Growing Whānau parents workshop was a really good workshop. I think it is a useful one for new parents to at least give a bit of comfort around how others in a similar position may be feeling too and gave good insights into what normal is in the context of returning to work and juggling parenthood.“
